The Federal Government says it will deploy adequate security personnel to ensure that abducted students of Government Science College, Kagara, and Members of Staff are released from the bandits unhurt
The National Security Adviser to the President, Babagana Monguno, gave the assurance to the Niger State Governor, Abubakar Bello in Minna.
Major General Monguno described the situation as worrisome and unfortunate as it happened less than ninety days after a similar event occured in Kankara, Katsina State.
The National Security Adviser urged community members to work closely with security agencies to ensure that the desired success is achieved.

The representative of Inspector General of Police, H. Adamu assured Governor Bello that already, four units of mobile policemen have been mobilized to beef up the number of security personnel in the State
The Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, assured the Governor and the people of Niger State that the Federal Government will do all it can to improve the security situation in the state
Governor Bello thanked the Federal Government for its prompt response.
