Several houses are to be demolished along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway to give room for the construction of an interchange around Lotto axis as well as flyovers on some sections of the highway.
Director Highway South West of the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Funsho Adebiyi told newsmen in Lagos that some houses on waterways along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway will be also affected.

Adebiyi who was on an inspection tour of some ongoing road reconstruction projects further stated that the affected individuals will be duly compensated.
Among the structures to be affected in the demolition axercise are some buildings belonging to the Reedeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Camp Ground and Ogunrun Community.
