The National Universities Commission, NUC says it is unbundling agriculture, architecture and creative arts programmes.
The executive secretary, Professor Abubakar Rasheed said it has become necessary following the changes in times and the advancement in technology.

Another programme set for unbundling is Mass Communications. the NUC says 7 programmes have been created from Mass Communication which are expected to take effect from the 2020/2021 academic session.
The commission also says it is also putting finishing touches to the introduction of programmes of study on peace, conflict and research as part of response to globalization and its demands.
