The Federal Government says, protecting her critical oil and gas assets will remain a top priority of the Buhari- led administration.
Nigeria’s Defense Minister, Bashir Salihi, made this known while on a one day inspection visit to military formations in Warri, Delta state.
He emphasized that the country cannot afford to lose billions of Naira to crude oil theives and vandals.

The defense minister was accompanied by the Minister Of Transportation, Rotimi Ameachi, the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibass, some top govt officials and some senior military personnel.
The Federal Government delegation inspected military ships and gun boats, used for sea surveillance patrol.
