Flamingos of Nigeria have secured their first win at the ongoing FIFA U17 Women’s World cup in India.
Having lost their first game by 2-1 against Germany, the match against New Zealand was a must win for the Flamingos of Nigeria to qualify for the next round of the U17 Women’s World cup.

Two first-half goals from Bello and Usani and two second-half beautiful finish from Afolabi and Edidiong earned the girls their First three points.
Flamingos are currently top of group B and with five goals scored and two goals conceded, they will next face Chile on Monday, 12 pm Nigerian time.
