The Immediate past Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has returned to the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.
In line with this, he met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Dogara was led to the President’s office by the Chairman of APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, who briefed the President of the latest development in the ruling party.
The former Speaker did not talk to the media when requested by State House correspondents, but Buni confirmed that he has become a member of the APC.

Recall that Dogara left the APC for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP along with the then Senate President, Bukola Saraki ahead of the 2019 general elections.
