A fully-loaded petrol tanker reportedly exploded in Agudo village, Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State burning down three compounds with valuables destroyed.
The Police Public Relations Officer, who confirmed the unfortunate incident, noted that it was a lone accident adding that no life was lost in the explosion.

She equally said that the police were in control of the area.
The Executive Secretary, Benue State Emergency Management Agency, BSEMA, Emmanuel Shior, visited the affected village in Tarka Local Government Area for an on the spot assessment of the explosion that destroyed three compounds with property worth millions of Naira.
