Gombe State Governor Inuwa Yahaya has called for more synergy with the traditional institution in the State for effective governance that is accountable to the people.
The State Governor made this call while being turbaned as the Matawallen Kalutungo by the Mai Kaltungo, Saleh Mohammed.
The event which held at the palace of the Mai Kaltungo in Kaltungo Local Government Area of the State was a celebration of culture and diversity for the indigenous people of Kaltungo who all came out to celebrate the Governor whom they call their son.
It was also an opportunity for the people of the State to celebrate the policies of the people-orientated administration of Governor Yahaya.

The turbaning was the main attraction with the subsequent acknowledgement of respect and gratitude.
For the Kaltungo royal father, the title of Matawallen is for the Governor’s achievements that confers on him new responsibilities.
