The Task Force on Covid-19 in Gombe State says it is currently managing one 134 cases at its isolation centres as it adopts the measures put out by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
The Gombe Task Force said it would engage in more testing of individuals in the state since the National Center for Disease Control, NCDC, has concluded plans to set up another test centre in the state.
On the current situation of Covid-19 in the state, the Task Force revealed that the numbers of positive cases are falling especially with the financial backing from the state government.
The body said with the activation of “safe mode” in the reopening of schools in the country, the Gombe State Government has also rolled out measures to keep the students safe.

As the numbers of people infected with the virus grows, preventive measures such as wearing a face mask and good hygiene are essential in fighting covid-19.
