Cross River state governor, Prof. Ben Ayade has called on Nigerians, especially the Christians to at all times to observe all the Ayadepreventive protocols as they celebrate the birth of Christ at Christmas.
Ayade in a message signed by his Special Adviser, Media, and Publicity, Christian Ita, said all citizens should be mindful of the deadly global pandemic, COVID-19 which is still a potential health danger to the world.
The governor urges Christians to exhibit the exemplary lifestyle of Jesus Christ and imbibe his virtues,saying the birth of Christ brought refreshing dawn to mankind.
Describing Christ as a symbol of peace, humility and selflessness, Ayade maintained that the season comes with lessons which should be imbibed by Nigerians, especially,the political leaders.

The governor while wishing Christians peace and joy as they celebrate the birth of Jesus charged them to remember the reason for the season and let it never depart from their hearts.
