Governor Darius Ishaku has denied any link with the arrest of some youths in Jalingo by the Police as alleged by the Deputy Minority Leader , Emmanuel Bwacha, representing Taraba South.
The Governor said he is law-abiding and will not meddle in investigations by the Police.
The Senator representing Taraba South, Emmanuel Bwacha had on Wednesday in the National Assembly, Senate accused Governor Ishaku of orchestrating the arrest and detention of 14 Takum Youths by the Police in Taraba State.
Speaking to journalists, the Commissioner for Information, Danjuma Adamu said the allegation against the Governor is untrue, baseless and unfounded.
He advised the Senator to seek redress in court over the issue.

Adamu said Governor Darius Ishaku, remains focused on maintaining peace and security in the state and is too busy to meddle with security investigations.
