Gov Obaseki continues campaign to the wards in Ovia North East L.G.A

The campaign train of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has continued its tour to the wards of Ovia North East Local Government Area to solicit for votes from the electorate.

The standard-bearer of the PDP and incumbent Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki assured indigenes of the seven wards visited of infrastructure development, electrification and other social amenities.

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, commenced a campaign to Edo South Senatorial District on Tuesday. They were at six wards of Ovia North East Local Government canvassing for votes from the electorate.

The campaign team embarked on a continuation of the tour of Ovia North East on Wednesday.

They started from Oduna ward eleven at Ekenwan where the people converged to hear from the standard-bearer of the PDP, Governor Godwin Obaseki.
He assures them of speedy work on their access road and electrification of the locality.

The Senator Representing Edo South Senatorial District, Matthew Urhoghide acknowledged the people oriented policies and projects of Governor Obaseki in his first term and called on the people to vote for continuity.

Chairman, Edo PDP Campaign Council, Dan Orbih lauded the foresight of the Governor in the development of rural areas especially in the agriculture sector.

He goes further to condemn the use of violence to intimidate supporters of Obaseki.

The campaign team were at Oghede, Utoka, Iguoshodin, Uhen, Okada East and West wards to sell the manifesto of making Edo great again.

The Party also received some decampees from the All Progressives Congress, APC, who opted to align themselves with the Governor’s vision for the state.
