Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki, has reacted to the alleged plot by the All Progressives Congress, APC to invade the State House of Assembly.
While inspecting the House of Assembly after the news broke that it was purportedly invaded by policemen from Abuja, to allow some lawmakers who recently pledge their support for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, to convene sitting for inauguration, Governor Obaseki denounced the alleged plan describing it as illegal.

The Governor emphasised that act of illegality and impunity will not be condoned in the state. He said that people must play politics according to the rules and not plunge the state into crisis.
