The Governor of Adamawa State, Umaru Fintiri, has commenced on-the-spot inspection of health centers across the state.
The physical assessment of the structural deficit of the health facilities is to match words with actions, in reflecting what is captured in the 2020 Budget for the health sector in the state.
The Governor’s first point of call was the Adamawa State Specialist Hospital where he was taken round the dilapidated structures and worn out medical facilities.

Potable water has also been a challenge in the hospital with the emergency construction of a borehole by the current administration still not enough, to cater for the whole facility.
Governor Fintiri, in his remarks, reiterated the commitment to speedy transformation of the health sector in the state.
