It is day one of the 7-day total lockdown of Plateau State to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
Before now, most shops were under lock and key with the exception of traders in food items and workers on essential duty.
Major streets remain disserted as people obey the order to stay-at-home.

Governor Lalong amidst heavy downpour kicks off the fumigation exercise at the burnt Terminus Market and popular Ahmadu Bello Way.
He says the action is to further ensure that the fight against the spread of the Coronavirus is given adequate attention and reduce the influx of people into the State.
He calls on the people to adjust to the hard time and cooperate with government and security agents for the exercise to succeed.
The Governor said his administration will soon put in place palliative measures to assist the weak and vulnerable in the State cope with the lockdown.
