Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, has said that he has not concluded on the new platform with which he would seek re-election for a second term in office.
In a statement, Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, said the Governor is pre-occupied with the coronavirus pandemic, which is ravaging the world at large and Nigeria in particular, urging the people to abide by government’s directives to halt the spread of the virus.

Governor Obaseki had earlier announced the resignation of his membership of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the wake of his disqualification to run for re-election on the platform of the party.
His Deputy, Philip Shaibu has since followed suit, in what is expected to be an exodus of members from the APC in Edo State.
