The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has tested negative for COVID-19.
The Governor held a news conference at the government house Makurdi in his first official function after testing negative to the vurus. He did not waste time in blaming the Federal government for the country’s numerous security challenges.
Ortom also announced ban of all campaign activities by members of the State executive council and all government appointees.

In registering his displeasure with the presidency’s handling of recent happenings in the southwest, Ortom demanded urgent action to redeem the country from disintegration.
