The Director-General of the All Progressive Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman has cautioned Nigerians against divisive ethnic sentiments while reacting to the quit notice to unregistered herders in Ondo forests.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Lukman said inflammatory rhetorics on the issue will be counter productive and portends danger for a united Nigeria.
There have been altercation between Ondo State Government and the Presidency on the quit notice issued unregistered herders in Ondo forests.

According to the DG of the APC Governors’ Forum, the engagement of stakeholders will be more productive rather than initiatives and responses that will be wrongly interpreted.
He called for a collaborative initiative between States and Federal Government saying the prevailing criminality in Nigeria requires unity of purpose of all the citizenry.
