The Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, (ICPC) says it has successfully tracked 240 projects on roads, water and schools worth about fifteen (15) million naira poorly executed, across the 16 local government areas of Kwara State by some lawmakers.
Addressing newsmen in Ilorin the State capital, the Team Leader of the ICPC Kwara Constituency and Executive Projects, Aminu Bala, disclosed this while distributing the recovered items hoarded by some law makers to public schools in the State.
According to Aminu Bala, fifty-nine contractors have been sent back to various abandoned sites, to correct some abnormalities, while over fifty public schools have benefitted from the recovered items which ranges from 57 computers,16 generating sets and 2,677 school furnitures.

Balah however advised Nigerians, to be involved in the execution of constituency projects by asking relevant questions, that will put both the lawmakers and the contractors on their toes.
Some of the Principals whose school benefitted from the recovered items, said it will go a long way in assisting their students.
22 schools benefitted from the recovered items in Ilorin East local government area, 25 in Ilorin South,23 in Asa local government while 33 were from Ilorin West local government area.
