Following the second wave of Coronavirus pandemic ravaging the country, Imo state Covid-19 taskforce has commenced arrest of deviants who refuse to obey safety protocols.
Reports say defaulters were charged to Mobile Courts established for the purpose in Owerri, the State capital.

But Imo state residents remain adamant, refusing to comply with federal government directives.
ait.live reports that the covid-19 taskforce took the enforcement to the streets of Owerri where residents found without facemasks were arrested.
Some of the offenders expressed regret over their actions.
To avoid jail term, or fine as stipulated by the law, residents are expected to adhere strictly to safety protocols, so as to be free of the pandemic.
