Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has challenged the leadership of security agencies in the country, especially those serving in the South East to step up their efforts to end the sit-at-home action introduced by non-state actors
Governor Uzodimma said this when he received the Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Ayuba Chugali and the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 9, Echeng Echeng, who both paid courtesy calls to Government House, Owerri.
He expressed worry that the frequent civil disobedience is crippling the region’s economy, commerce and trade, and should not be allowed to continue.
