Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has flagged-off the Mobile Health Insurance Scheme in the State.
It was on the occasion of the working visit by a delegation of the World Health Organisation, WHO to Imo State.
Governor Uzodimma expressed gratitude to WHO, praying for the sustenance of the partnership between the State and United Nations agency to enhance the good health of the people.
For Uzodinma, the Government is fully committed to the health care insurance, believing that the partnership would see Imo people out of Covid-19 pandemic.

WHO Country Representative, Kazadi Mulombo, explained that the health insurance innovation would help to deepen the collaboration existing between agency and Imo State Government.
The Imo State Health Insurance Scheme has the potentials to reduce 92% Out of Pocket Expenditure on health and bring health services closer to millions of people.
