Adamawa State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Hudu Yunusa-Ari, says preparations by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the Supplementary elections fixed for Saturday, April 15 have been concluded.
Yunusa-Ari made this known in an interview with journalists during the distribution of sensitive election materials to affected polling units across the state.

The Supplementary elections in Adamawa State include that of the Governorship that was declared inconclusive by the Commission.
Also listed for Supplementary polls are four out of the 25 State Assembly Constituencies where elections were declared inconclusive, on the grounds of various election irregularities
On whether the elections would be free and fair, the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner answered in the affirmative. He assured that all votes will count in supplementary polls.
Before the Supplementary elections, different interest groups have called for the replacement of Yunusa-Ari as Resident Electoral Commissioner over alleged incompetence.
