The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC says it will replace all the non-sensitive materials burnt down by hoodlums during the End SARS Protest in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area, Imo State.
Imo State Resident Electoral Commissioner, Professor Francis Ezeonu, stated this in a chat with journalists ahead of the Imo North senatorial district bye-election scheduled for December 5, 2020.
Professor Ezeonu said more than three thousand duly trained staff would be deployed to conduct elections in seven hundred and ten voting units spread across the six local government areas of Imo North senatorial district.

According to him, the bye-election will be conducted in strict compliance with covid-19 protocols, noting that pharmaceutical materials like hand sanitizers and methylated spirit have been procured for use at the voting centers.
