Vehicular movements have been restricted from 6am to mid-day on Sallah Day in Borno State.
A statement by the Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Yakubu Mohammed, who is an Assistant Superintendent of Police says, the restriction would affect motor vehicles, tricycles, bicycles, wheelbarrows, horses, and donkeys in the state.
It advises the people to pray at Praying Grounds nearest to their homes.
They have also been advised to arrive early at the Praying Grounds for security screening and to avoid any stampedes.

The statement warns that no bags, weapons or sharp objects will be allowed into any praying grounds and urges worshipers to cooperate with security operatives.
The statement also advises worshipers to strictly adhere to Covid-19 Safety Protocols and observe Social Distancing.
It says any person not wearing a face mask will not have access to the Praying Ground.
The Police urge members of the public to be security-conscious and report any suspicious persons, or activities to security agents
