Jamb fixes UTME registration date, insists candidates must provide NIN

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has fixed the date for the Registration exercise for the 2021/2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

It will start from Thursday, April 8 to Saturday May 15, 2021.

In a statement by JAMB’s Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin, Candidates are also to note that the registration for Direct Entry applicants would run concurrently with that of UTME candidates.

JAMB says it is mandatory for persons to be registered for UTME or Direct entry to provide their National Identity Number, NIN.

The statement says registration fee for the 2021 application documents is N3, 500 and N500 for the recommended Reading Text.

The statement added that Registration will take place in 700 centres across the country and the list is available in all the state offices and JAMB’s website.

JAMB says Optional UTME Mock will hold on Friday, April 30, 2021, for those ​who indicate interest and registered ​before April 24, 2021, while the main exercise would hold from ​Saturday, June 5 to Saturday the 19, 2021.

JAMB Noted that The venue of the examination will be at any of the centres in the candidate’s chosen examination town.
