Eyitayo Jegede has been declared winner of the Ondo state People’s Democratic party’s Governorship primary Election.
Jegede polled a total of 888 to defeat other seven Aspirants.
He defeated his closest challenger and Deputy Governor of ondo state, Agboola Ajayi who scored 657 votes.

Declaring the Result, Chairman of the Ondo PDP Governorship primary election and Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi said Eyitayo Jegede having scored the highest number of lawful votes is declared winner of the election.
