A coalition of election observer groups in Jos, the Plateau State capital, have called on Nigerians to ensure they participate fully in Saturday’s governorship and house of assembly election.

They made this known during a press interaction ahead of the polls.

The coordinator of the coalition, Stafford Bisong, admonished the people of the state to use their PVCs to elect candidates of their choice, as not participating in the election will pave the way for bad leaders.

While analyzing the presidential and national assembly elections, the observers called on INEC and the Nigerian police to ensure they addressed gray areas for a more acceptable outcome of the governorship election.

They also called on politicians to conduct themselves according to the rules, as anyone found wanting would be reported to the appropriate authority.
