Just In: 1 person killed as fire guts Motor Park in Oyo State

The popular Moniya Motor Park besides the Akinyele Local Government Secretariat in Oyo State has been gutted by fire.

The incident which occurred on the outskirt of Ibadan, the state capital Friday evening reportedly claimed the life of one person.

The inferno also destroyed several cars, motorcycles and shops worth millions of naira.

There are also reports that an excavator and a truck belonging to Kopek Construction Company were also burnt.

As at the time of this report, men of the Oyo State Fire Service had arrived the scene to put out the inferno.
