Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has announced a total lockdown of Katsina Local Government Area which is the State capital following 3 new cases of coronavirus in the state.
Masari while announcing the lockdown says, the total number of coronavirus cases in the state is now 12 out of which 2 are in Katsina Local Government Area.
The governor further said, it is in line with the promise made to the people that, any Local Government that records a positive case shall be locked down. The state capital will, therefore, go into lockdown from 7 am on Tuesday till further notice.

He therefore advised the people of Katsina Local Government to adhere strictly to the lockdown order as security personnel have been duly briefed to carry out effective implementation.
