Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in Nasarawa State, North-Central Nigeria.
Governor Abdullahi Sule who gave the update at a briefing in Lafia, the state capital said 4 of the new cases are contacts of the state lawmaker who died from Covid-19.

The new infections bring to 25, the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases in the State.
In the meantime, the total lockdown imposed on Nasarawa Local Government Area, where the dead lawmaker hails from has been extended by 3 days.
