The Kano State High Court has inaugurated twenty-one mobile Court Magistrates for the enforcement of Covid-19 protocols amidst rising cases of the virus in the State.
The Magistrates were inaugurated by the Chief Judge of the State, Justice Nura Sagir.
He asked them to discharge their duties with all diligence.

Speaking, the Registrar of the State High Court, Abdullahi Bayero said the twenty-one magistrates will be designated within the metropolis, as they are saddled with the responsibility of enforcing Covid 19 safety protocols and penalizing those who flaunt the protocols.
Bayero asked the residents to observe all Covid 19 safety protocols, as defaulters will be fined or imprisoned, according to the discretion of the Magistrates.
The State’s Covid 19 marshals are already sensitizing the public on the need to observe the safety protocols.
