Kano State Government is set to commence the second round of the year 2020 Polio immunisation campaign on Saturday.
Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Tsanyawa, made this known while briefing reporters on the vaccination campaign on Friday.
He said the state has received over 3 million doses of polio vaccine from the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency, NPHCDA, for the exercise.
Kano State has recorded more than 64 months without any case of polio virus.
Nigeria is working towards achieving polio-free status.
