The Kano State government is to spend about one hundred and forty eight billion Naira in 2021.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje tagged the 2021 fiscal document as “Budget of Economic Recovery And Sustainable Development” on Tuesday while laying it before the State House Of Assembly.
The Governor says, the budget reflects the vision of his administration for diversification of the state sources, with a view to laying a solid foundation for a sustainable future.
The budget has a capital expenditure of about 74.67 billion Naira and a recurrent expenditure of 73.27 billion Naira.

Education gets a lion share of 37 billion Naira, while healthcare services will get 25 billion Naira.
The budget according to the Governor, focuses on integration of the Almajiri system of education, security, health, food availability and public/private partnerships among others.
