Kano State Government has commenced the distribution of relief items as palliatives to cushion the effects of the Coronavirus lockdown.
Governor Abdullahi Ganduje saying 300,000 households have been earmarked to benefit from the palliatives.
Flagging-off the distribution of the palliatives to the 8 metropolitan local government areas located in Kano Emirate, Ganduje commended the fundraising committee for devising a coordinated means to distribute the palliatives.

Kano State as at the time of this report had a total of 73 confirmed Coronavirus.
Meanwhile, the state has relaxed its Coronavirus lockdown to allow the residents prepare for Ramadan fast and restock foodstuffs.
