Katsina State Governor Dikko Radda has reappointed only 13 of the Permanent Secretaries he inherited from his predecessor based on their exceptional performance, and following their qualifying examination and screening.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Mohammed, the governor’s vision for effective governance has set the stage to exclude others, following a rigorous and merit-based selection procedure.

According to him, the 13 deserving reappointed Permanent Secretaries, and an additional 23 directors, who have been elevated to the esteemed position of Permanent Secretary within the Katsina State Civil Service, have exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and demonstrated their ability to navigate complex challenges with integrity and dedication.
Among the Permanent Secretaries reappointed are Abubakar Gege, Falalu Bawale, Mas’ud Mustapha Banye, Rayyanatu Lawal, Surajo Dalhatu, Abdulhamid Garba Sabuwa, Aminu Minjinyawa, Mannir Ibrahim Talba, Umar Samal’ila, Musa Rabiu Mahuta, Mustapha Babi, Abdullahi Abubakar, and Salisu Musa Batsari.
