Following the ugly incident that occurred at Kusada local government area of Katsina state where youths in their numbers burnt down the divisional police station, the police have confirmed a dusk to dawn curfew imposed on the area by the state government.
Spokesperson of the command, Gambo Isah gave the update while speaking to AIT on the development.
Isah says the ugly incident occurred as a result of the arrest of one of the deputy imams belonging to a sect who conducted the Friday prayers against the ban by the state government on large gatherings to contain the spread of coronavirus.
The police spokesman also said as at March 29 more arrests have been made as the state government imposed a dusk to dawn curfew on the local government.

While the commissioner of police, Sanusi Buba appeals for calm in the area. Isah said those not found culpable of the crime would be freed as full investigation is still on going.
