Following the #EndSARS peaceful protest that rocked some parts of Nigeria recently, youths in Katsina State, under the aegis of Awareness for Good Leadership, Peace, and Development, have called on government at all levels to be youths conscious.
The National President of the group, Abdullahi Aliyu, who stated this in the spirit of the just celebrated National Youth Day, said that though youths in Katsina condemned the violent protests, they are, however, reminding the leaders that the system is also faulty.
Aliyu, while addressing newsmen shortly after a meeting with the state chapter of the group, commended Katsina for not joining the #EndSARS Protest hijacked by hoodlums, which witnessed the looting of Covid-19 palliatives and other items from the warehouses.
He said that the time has come for our leaders to be more accountable and work for and with the youths, who are the leaders of tomorrow, towards making the nation great, peaceful, and secure.
