Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Samuel Titus, has warned prospective buyers of domestic animals to verify their authenticity before purchase to avoid being arrested for receiving stolen property in the state.
The CP also appealed to commercial motorcyclists to be wary of the types of business people do before associating with them.

He also requested them to desist from operating at night to avoid being victims of circumstance.
CP Titus made the appeals when he was addressing journalists on the achievements of his command, at the State Headquarters, Birninkebbi, the Kebbi State capital, in Northwest Nigeria.
The Kebbi State CP added that within the period of his assumption of duty, the command has recorded tremendous success, including those of criminal conspiracy, armed robbery, illegal possession of prohibited firearms, theft of motor vehicle, fraud, impersonation and receipt of stolen property.
Some of the suspects were five men involved in a criminal conspiracy, vandalism, homicide, possession of a rocket launcher, defilement and intimidation, among others.
