Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has ordered a total lockdown in Kabbab Bunu Local Government Area for two weeks, starting from 12 midnight on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
Governor Bello, who stated this during a press briefing, said the lockdown will enable health officials to carry out a massive test on the people to confirm if any has contracted COVID-19 following confirmed cases of COVID -19 by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, in Kogi State.

Recall that the NCDC recently confirmed two cases of COVID-19 disease in Kogi State, a report that was rebuffed by the State Government.
