Peoples’ Democratic Party’s Governorship Candidate, Dino Melaye has rejected results so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Kogi State, calling for immediate cancellation.
Melaye made the call in Lokoja, the state capital as the electoral umpire continues collation of results after Saturday’s off-cycle governorship election that held in the 21 local government areas of the State.

Dino accused the electoral body of failing to redeem its image by avoiding the recurrence of the 2023 general elections to protect the rights of the people.
INEC had announced the suspension of election in nine wards of ogori magongo local government area due to cases of electoral malpractices
