Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq says 75 percent of federal allocation to the state is used to offset salaries of civil servants.
Addressing State House correspondents after a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, Abdulrazaq said the state government has embarked on an aggressive revenue drive with focus on agriculture.
The Governor said he came with a shopping list to President Buhari for his intervention particularly in critical areas like education and health.
Abdulrazaq said the State has keyed into the social investment programme of the Federal Government, and has made huge impact on the lives of the people.
He noted however that the State is yet to commence the school feeding programme of the Federal Government.
