An Abuja-based lawyer Sam Kargbo has called States and Local Governments in Nigeria to rise to the occasion and efficiently tackle the spate of insecurity in their domain.
Sam Kargbo who gave the charge while speaking on the incessant security crisis across the country on AIT’s current affairs program, Focus Nigeria on Friday said all the States and Local Government Chief Executives have all the legal backing to guarantee security accross the country.
He advised that the menace of insecurity across Nigeria must be treated as an emergency; pointing out the task of securing the country is everybody’s business and that the efforts of the Federal Government to tackle the situation must be complemented if the country must achieve meaningful results.
