For now, the 23-year old mother is undergoing what NAPTIP’s Director of Public Enlightenment, Arinze Ozakwe, said is an intensive rehabilitation programme.
The Lebanon returnee hopes for a fresh start after the rehabilitation.
Her case represents what not a few Nigerians seeking greener pastures go through, they fall into the hands of human traffickers and people smugglers. Many never live to tell their stories.
