Kogi state governor Yahaya Bello has approved a 14-member committee for negotiation of the implementation of the new national minimum wage in the state.
This was made public by special adviser to the governor on information and communication strategy, Kingsley Fanwo.
Members of the committee include secretary to the state government Folashade Ayoade who heads the committee.

Head of service Deborah Ogunmola , special adviser to the governor on legal matters, Ibrahim Muhammed Sani, special adviser on finance, budget and planning Asiwaju Ashiru and special adviser on local government and chieftaincy affairs, Abubakar Ohere as members.
Other are the state accountant-general Momoh Jibrin, state auditor-general Yakubu Okaka, local government auditor-general, Usman Ododo,
Akeji Yusuf, Tade Adeyemi , i.a. Abubakar, Thomas Ayodele and Meliga Obaga.
The special adviser to the governor on information and communication strategy, Kingsley Fanwo is to serve as the secretary.
