Minister of Information solicits support of Mediamen to fight Fake news

Worried by the aftermath of the EndSARS protests across the country especially the stand taken by the British parliament in their recent sitting as well as the position of international media on the matter, the Minister of Information Lai Mohammed Tuesday interacted with online editors and other mediamen in Lagos.

Lai Mohammed who described as worrisome the perception of the international community said the purveyor of fake news used the social media to lure protesters into the streets which turned violent as hoodlums later hijacked the peaceful protests to cause havoc across the states.
