Nigerians in Gombe state are calling on the federal government and the Central Bank of Nigeria to redefine the monetary policy of the country to ensure a continuous flow of the currency to the common man.
Though they commend the current policies, they, however, want the government to understand the hardship faced by Nigerians and be flexible in the execution of such monetary policies.

Their comments are coming as most banks opened their doors this weekend to customers to ensure the availability of the Naira to Nigerians.

But with the government’s provision of old currency notes after the supreme court judgment and the opening of banks in the metropolis they believe the new approach will grant the people access to their own currency in record time
