A video has emerged of some Nigerian women who were trafficked to Lebanon pleading for the Nigerian government to come to their rescue.
The women in the video who are all with face masks say they are stranded and want to come back home
Reacting to the video, director-general of the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, Julie Okah-Donli says her agency is making efforts to rescue the young ladies.

Donli who made this known to ait.live in a telephone conversation said NAPTIP is currently working with the Nigerian Embassy in Lebanon to rescue the ladies and bring them safely home.
She added that the task of finding them may not be easy and bringing them home may be challenging, but the government will not relent
