Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, says the lack of good governance and a limited functional education particularly in Northern Nigeria, is among the causes of the increased insecurity in the country.
Governor Sule who said this at Government House, Lafia, while hosting participants from the Executive Intelligence Course 14, from the National Institute for Security Studies, said the governance problem is not limited to political officeholders.

He said it was also said that the dysfunctional education system has left many Nigerian school graduates unemployed.
Commandant of the National Institute for Security Studies, Ayodele Adeleke, said they were in the state to share experiences that will enrich the participants.
Adeleke said a situation where most states in the country are under policed must be addressed, stressing that the number of security agencies in Nigeria is currently inadequate to fully tackle the myriad of security challenges.
