The All Progressives Congress, APC, in Nasarawa State says it will appeal the verdict of the governorship tribunal which nullified the election of Governor Abdullahi Sule.
The state chairman of the party, Aliyu Bello told journalists in Lafia, the state capital that the party and its candidate, Governor Sule, whom INEC had declared winner of the March 18 contest, will triumph on appeal
The Tribunal had in a two-one judgment nullified the election of Abdullahi Sule, after subtracting votes it says were inflated in result sheets from some polling units in 3 wards of Lafia Local Government Area, and not reflected in the BVAs machine, and declared the PDP candidate, David Umbugadu, the winner with lawful votes cast in the election.
